Simple Daisy Flower Pattern – Free

  • Materials

    You will need:
    • DK yarn, a minimum of 2 different colours (Colour A - Cream, Colour B - Yellow)
    • 3.5mm Hook/ Size E
    • Scissors
    • Darning/Wool Needle
  • Step 1 - Making the central ring

    With colour A, chain 6.

    Slip stitch into first chain to make a ring.

    Single crochet 15 times into the ring. You may need to shunt the stitches along with your fingers to ensure that all 15 will fit into the ring.

    Join with a slip stitch into first single crochet and fasten off.

    With colour B, join yarn with a slip stitch into any single crochet stitch. Chain 10.

    Secure petal by slip-stitching into the same stitch.

    Weave in all your ends and pull your petals into shape. For extra definition, you can pin your flower onto a folded towel, pinning out each petal and then spray with water and allow to dry.
